Just had the Indian guy Microsoft technical support scam call trying to give them access to my computer...I laughed and suggested Microsoft would never ring me proactively! He wouldn't give me his credit card when I asked but did give this number....can feel a police report coming on...

I received a call from this number at 6.10pm this evening. The guy had an indian accent, clearly calling from overseas through a redirected number, stating he was from microsoft and needed to login to my computer. He also knew my name (White Pages).
Can you not block this number and prevent it being used? Where is the traceability shown in creating an account and obtaining a local phone number from Telstra?

received 3 calls so far from this mob twice no answer other than goodbye message and the last time some woman telling me I had a problem with my computer I said funny that as I dont have a computer and she quickly hung up

The Windows technical support scam. Told the caller female with Filipino accent I wasn't interested in their rubbish call and hung up.

Just got a call from them and I dialed them back and was putting an order in for pizza's sort of confused the guy after repeating the order about 5 times each time my order changed. Hopefully these scammers will get the msg and STOP calling

Have received 2 calls in last 2 weeks from these scammers. After I tell them I don't own a computer, they hang up. I called them back and gave them a mouthful!

Claimed to be from Technical Dept of Windows. Foreign female voice, took a while for her to speak.

These people call me everyday telling me there is something wrong with my computer and they are from Microsoft. I told them you're a liar and are a scam company do not call me again and I hung up. They called me the next day and I answered, the guy told me he was from Microsoft and there was something wrong with my computer so I said, oh wow, really then he hung up. So I called the number and he answered goodmorning technical support so I said, if you call me with scams and I question it and you hang up on me then GET MY NUMBER OFF YOUR F'N LIST and hung up. I will take this as far as I can to make complaints in the hopes of them getting caught.

It's Windows Technical Support SCAM!! Originating somewhere in India by the sound of their accent. Do not provide any details to them. Report to police ASAP.

A definite Microsoft scam number. They will try and steal your number and if you allow them remote access they will do damage. Generally they will seek to use teamviewer then copy a txt file over that will be renamed and run a deletion script.

Attempted scammer pretending to be from Microsoft. They should be in jail not being allowed to harass people all over the country
